Mission
We're young alcoholics who found a way out, and we want the next person to find it faster.
What we're here for
- Celebrate sobriety
Getting sober young is worth throwing a party over. We make sure there's always somewhere to go.
- Carry the message to all ages
Young people's events are open to everyone. Our message is for anyone who wants to stop drinking.
- Share experience
We connect Gainesville with young people in AA across Florida and beyond, so we can learn from each other.
- Support FCYPAA
We help the statewide conference every year and are working to host it here in 2028.
How we operate
We follow the Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous. In practice that means a few things for this committee and this site.
We pay our own way. Our events are funded by our own members and by what we raise at events. We don't take outside money.
We protect anonymity. You won't see faces or last names on this site. Please don't post photos of people at our events.
Attraction, not promotion. We share what's happening and let the fellowship speak for itself.
We're not AA. We're a service committee made up of AA members. We aren't affiliated with or speaking for Alcoholics Anonymous as a whole.
